Hallelujah & Hay Bales: When AI Wandered Into the Barn

I asked AI to help me make a candle that smelled like the barn, but make it spiritual.

You know… something that says “fresh hay meets Sunday service.”

The AI came back with a recipe: frankincense, myrrh, cedarwood, and calamus root.

Basically the entire cast of the Nativity, minus the camel (though I’m pretty sure one of my goats tried out for the part).

I followed it exactly — mostly because I wanted to see if this thing could tell the difference between holy inspiration and Pinterest chaos.

I melted, mixed, poured, and waited.

When it set, the wax turned the exact color of hay.

The scent? Somewhere between polished wood and a whispered prayer.

So yeah, we’re calling this one “Hallelujah & Hay Bales.”

It smells like calm with a bit of backbone.

Hand-poured right here at Matlock Farms, where the goats judge, the Wi-Fi is questionable and the miracles occasionally set up shop in a mason jar.

Turns out when you mix AI, Kimpossible stubbornness, and a glass of wine, you get… enlightenment in a jar.
